We would like to make our patients aware that there will be surface dressing work taking place on York Road 17th - 20th May, so please expect delays and allow plenty of time to travel to and from the practice for your appointment. We will still be open as usual, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. ... See MoreSee Less

So first I receive a letter saying I didn’t attend an appointment that I never made (apparently 6 months in advance) and attaching an invoice for wasted time at £60 per hour, which isn’t actually attached or in the envelope. Maybe the person doing the post is also the one doing the fake bookings. I am not impressed and would pitty someone more vulnerable than myself who would be subjected to this. Wetherby grumbler here I come. ... See MoreSee Less

Gum disease is a very common condition where the gums become swollen, sore or infected.

Most adults in the UK have gum disease to some degree and most people experience it at least once. It's much less common in children.

If you have gum disease, your gums may bleed when you brush your teeth and you may have bad breath. This early stage of gum disease is known as gingivitis.

If gingivitis isn't treated, a condition called periodontitis can develop. This affects more tissues that support teeth and hold them in place.

If periodontitis isn't treated, the bone in your jaw may be damaged and small spaces can open up between the gum and teeth. Your teeth can become loose and may eventually fall out.
